Melissa’s pin up session. Melissa is a long time friend of mine and she really wanted to do a pin up session. My cousin Chris and his wife Trina just happen to have many items from that era and let us come over and do her session. We had so much fun with this session using the Vestpa, old trailers and Chris’ prized Mercury car. It’s not everyday you get to do such a fun session with one of your best friends using so many fun photo props.
Addy and Karson are a super cute couple that I know and Addy wanted to do a couple shoot of them. We went to the first place they met (or saw each other), which is the dock at the West Linn boat ramp. We enjoyed ourselves trying to avoid all the duck and geese poop all over at the dock (edited out...but all over) and they had fun being absolutely adorable together. This was a very enjoyable, fun and refreshing session for me. Their enthusiasm and cuteness was contagious. After the boat dock, we went and checked out the area around the elevator. It was a fun adventure! These two definitely can't get any cuter!
I met Darlene at a fundraiser for homeless people and she had been on a long journey of losing weight. She lost almost 200 pounds and had surgery to remove the excess skin. Such a long journey for her and she looks so amazing! We did a boudoir session to capture her sexy new self!
Jessika’s birth session. This was my first birth session. I love the birth process and would love to do birth photography all the time, but I do quite a few wedding sessions and it causes schedule conflicts. Jessika had her birth at a birth center and went totally natural with no drugs, which is how I did my last two births so it was fascinating to be a part of her birth process. It was the most amazing experience ever! She was such a rockstar at giving birth to her beautiful baby girl. Her birth will always be special to me because she was a single mom and did it all by herself and was such a strong momma and I just love to be part of anything birth related.
This beautiful family is welcoming a baby girl very soon. Kyra will be a first time mom and is so excited. Layla is so sweet and so excited to be a big sister. I've done pictures of Layla in the past, and just adore this sweet girl that has the happiest outlook on life. I'm so excited to see them add to their family. The session was serene, calm and endearing.

Lindsay was an old co worker of mine and her and her husband had a baby boy. New born sessions can be very challenging, babies are very unpredictable and even the slightest discomfort may end up being a stress inducer for both the baby and the mom. I always take extra care to prepare for newborn sessions and make sure everybody is comfortable before and during the session. This session was very enjoyable, mainly because of Jack. Baby Jack was such a fun baby to take photos of and was so happy and content the whole time. They are a very cute family that were just waiting for there little man to come along!
These two adorable people were married a few at Hopkins Demonstration Forest. They had a beautiful wedding put together mostly by family, and they did an amazing job! It was a very moving ceremony. Everything from the ambiance to the choice of colors were done very tastefully. Among the many weddings i have been a part of, this one stands out. Here are a few pictures from their wedding.
Elijah’s first birthday session with a very themed Dr. Seuss birthday party. Mom and dad did such a good job of putting this party together, there were so many adorable Dr. Seuss additions to make the party so fun. Elijah was the cutest addition to the party and went all in for his cake. I absolutely love first birthday parties and this was one of the funnest yet!
